The Turkish MP Recep Erdogan has alledgedly tried to influence German prosecutors with the case of German Youth Marco W. who was held in Turkish Jail charged with rape.
Erdogan wanted to avoid prosecution in the case of the donation row “Deniz Feneri”, who gathered more than 40 million euro in Germany, meant to help Children. Three officials from Deniz Fenerie said in the court in Frankfurt, that over 18 million euro had been used for other purpose. The case caused a scandal in Turkey, as the missing money turned out to have been used for mass media for the government party AKP.
